Some of the ideas Todd and I have been contemplating.

Contemplating transcendental numbers like Pi and Phi... and wondering if they can be symbolic for the "immortal" aspect of the multi-verse...the combination of 10 different numbers after decimal point, never repeating their pattern, (which is the impermanence) but the basic building blocks of the 10 numbers are the same. So perhaps there are 10 fundamental principals to come from that?

10 divided by two = five elements, water, earth, ether, air, and fire, the two times by five is the yin and the yang of each element.

The yin and yang = the one of undifferentiated unity.

2 is a sacred number of the ancients that see that relationship is paramount in the universe, the relationship of a being to the divine (great spirit) and that it is in some ways higher then focusing on a number like 1....

In the current times 1 is more popular with people putting themselves on par with God and the great spirit, and competing to be number 1, all the focus on the "self" - 1 is very "revered.

Perhaps it is the 0 that best represents the unity, the 0 relates to the womb or the void, of pure potentiality.

Ancients may of also revered the female above the male at some stage because of the female being associated with the "womb".

Once a being reaches the center of the divine consciousness, they then spiral out as the golden mean... traversing through those realms closer to the divine, and making their way out to the furthest out reaches.

The circumference of a circle is like samsara, or suffering, it can go on and endlessly and the only relief from it is to focus attention to the center, to travel the radius.

2 x Radius=Diameter

Traveling by the radius is to go to the center and then come back with the "divine message".

Notice the number "2"

If you travel through the diameter, with no "pause" as you are one unbrocken line, you fling yourself from one extreme to another, this is how aversion and attraction develops - with no centering or "middle path" being found.

Notice the number "1".
