I just wanted to post some of the hymns from the Rig Veda, that stood out for me, whilst reading the book "Wisdom of the Veda" by M.P Pandit. They stood out in the sense that they captured my life force in a strong way.

Found Vega!
Well I've been putting special attention on trying to identify the brightest stars/planets in the sky, (thought that would be easiest as a beginning exercise to get to know the night skies better) through using the reference of the astronomy program Stellarium.
Interestingly when I located Mars, and there was this other star next to it that was really pale
I wondered about the closeness between Mars and the star, so looked on Stellarium and it was called: Zavijava.
I found this:
"Zavijava probably derives from Al Zawiyah which among other things mean a small Mosque, subsidiary to a larger one nearby. Since such a Mosque is very much a symbol of authority in its locality, as a parish church is in other communities, the idea conveyed here is of someone holding a position of command, but subject to a higher command behind them. Al Araf (another name for this star) 'Those who Send Forth' (others to carry out their orders), or 'Those who are Sent Forth ...' The planetary simile (Mercury-Mars) suggests one who has the intelligence and energy to be sent forth and not need a higher authority to lead". Of course the most wonderful thing for me, was finally being able to see VEGA!
I had thought it was not viewable where I was, but low and behold Stellarium showed that it would be at a low angle in the winter months, and luckily it rose higher then the house lines!!!!!
I had a really interesting dream where I was given this special book by a person of some kind of Indian origin, it was a little red book, and in the dream it was supposed to be about Shiva. It was interesting because in the dream I woke up, after hearing this banging noise and went to investigate, and then there is this man standing there, and at first I thought he was a potential intruder, but he didn't say anything and just approached me and handed me the book through the window.
When I held on to the book I remember feeling like the book was very important and I did not want to loose it, so I did not put it down. Then I had this strong feeling that when I woke up (I had some awareness then that I was in a dream), that I would be able to take the book with me.

Solar Return been and gone, bring on the Lunar Queen...
Another Solar Return past....
I'm doing an exercise currently to get to know the Nakshatras better.
I've been singing to the lunar energy everyday, I'm determined to heal my menstual cycle. Seeking nourishment from the Un-obstructed flow of the lunar energy.
So many women are beset with menstrual difficulties, imbalances etc. I have tried many different methods to help heal my own, and when in pain I find a few things help in conjunction with one another:
Peppermint/chamomile tea
Daily Aloe Vera
Connecting with Lunar Deities, singing prayers to the Moon.
Keeping low to the ground, postures that lower the head and arms, bending the back.
Eating apples, drinking freshly made juices.
Staying away from soy beans, chocolate, fried foods, anything heavy for the body to digest etc.

No plan
It seems its must easier for me to write a story just letting it flow and not trying to "plan it", the planning just seems to kill it. It also makes it rather boring to write.
The open vast expansive sky, too large for a world of limited confines.

Solar return soon
Solar return is soon.
I prepare a morning ritual, to go back to my birth name on the day, 15th. Seeing the moon will be in Magha that day it seemed from the descriptions it will be good for that.
I also spend the day cleaning my space, to bring in fresh energy.
I also enter Moon period soon, and it will be bye bye to the Sun period. I feel in the closing days that there are some important things to consolidate. I did wonder if I would survive the Sun/Venus but so far I'm still here, only got until the 11th of July to go.
I am excited about the change though.

Thought: Walk around town carrying a heavy weight on top of my head whilst screaming out loudly...
"See.. See.... there is this heavy weight upon me, one false move and it will crush me... no time for frivolity, or dilly dallying about... see see..."
But I do wonder if anyone would get the symbology of it :P
